How Is a Child's Age Determined?

According to the policy of the Georgian Railway, a child's age is determined based on the following categories:

• 0–2 years old: Child fare – Free of charge
  


• 3–4 years old: Child fare – Free of charge
  


• 5–9 years old: Child fare – 50% discount on the ticket price
  


• 10–11 years old: Adult fare – No discount applies
  

The applicable fare category is determined according to the child's age at the time of travel.
