Transportation of Small Domestic Animals/Birds
When traveling in any class of train carriage, passengers are allowed to carry small domestic animals/birds free of charge, provided they are placed in special containers and the container does not occupy a separate passenger seat.

If the passenger wishes to place the container on a separate seat, an additional ticket must be purchased for the container at the time of ticket purchase.

The container’s dimensions must not exceed 55x35x20 cm. It must be clean, leak‑proof, escape‑proof, ventilated on three sides, spacious enough for the animal/bird to move naturally, and its bottom must be covered with absorbent fabric.

Passengers transporting small domestic animals/birds must carry a veterinary certificate, which must be presented to the carriage attendant (service operator) when boarding the train.

The container must be placed in such a way that it does not obstruct other passengers’ free movement.

The passenger is fully responsible for the small domestic animal/bird being transported. They must monitor the container and the animal/bird inside to ensure they do not disturb or endanger other passengers, damage or soil the train, or harm other passengers’ belongings.

If the small domestic animal/bird causes harm to other passengers or train staff, or damages/soils the train or other passengers’ property, the passenger transporting the animal/bird is fully liable for compensation of such damage.
